Seller not responding

Seller not responding
Jul 30, 2012 10:16 PM

I won an auction four days ago and immediately paid and contacted the seller. It was a Thursday. Today is Monday. They have yet to respond to my 3 messages I have since sent about the item, and 1 asking why they were not responding.

Am I being impatient or should I be worried? The seller had 100% positive feedback, but I later realised they had only 9 transactions, one as a seller with which the buyer was satisfied.

Thanks guys!

Some sellers arent the most communicative types, some are too communicative.  Some simply arent at the computer everyday. Take into account where the item is coming from and what payment method you used.  (Bank transfers can take 5 days- I really hope you didnt use this method as it affords you no protection, paypal funded by bank account can take 10 days to clear.

The only purchase I can see in your history atm has feedback being received and left from both parties so I am guessing that isnt the one :)

Four days isnt enought time to receive the item - give it till day 14 and open a dispute

Some people are like clouds....

When they buzz off its' a beautiful day!

oke_acton,

Presuming its the phone, I know that the Seller's listings were reported to eBay as fraudulent by several different members.

Some of the listings were removed and others weren't.

With this amount of money involved and even though it's only been 4 days, as you've had no response from the Seller, I suggest that you log on to Paypal and open a Dispute. Leave it for only a couple of days and if you have no response, escalate to a claim.

This is my opinion only. Others may suggest you wait a bit longer.

This has happened to me in the past 5 weeks with 4 auctions.,I assume the seller does this because they are not happy with the price that the item closed at.. The seller does not put a reserve on it because they do not want to pay a reserve fee to ebay..Send another message to the seller of your intentions to give bad feedback, and filing a dispute.. but i would leave it a couple of more days as you have 45 days to file a claim.. The seller could possibly be a honest seller and has family issues or internet issues or some internal issues and or unable to get back to you. Inconclusion some empathy towards the seller may be a good idea seems this sale is so fresh
