Am I able to advertise an item as a free giveaway on E-Bay

I have several items in good condition that I would like to give away for free.  Although the items have minimal to average value, they are too good to throw away.  If someone in my local area are interested, they could pick them up for no charge.  I would like to advertise them as giveaways but am unsure whether I may do so on E-Bay.

No, not really, as eBay wants items to sell for as much as possible because that is how they make money :)


But there is nothing stopping you from listing items at 99c or even 1c ]:) and let the market decide how much people want to pay.


I have recently decided to get rid of some stuff, and could not be bothered to drive up to the local op-shop (there is never parking close).  I listed 5 items at 99c and ended up with between $55 and about $70 for each of them :O  LOL

Look into a site called Freecycle. You can choose your area and its all stuff that is free to be given away, not for sale.

Gumtree is another good site to give stuff away :)
