I have several of an item to sell. I would like to sell these individually by Auction. Is this ok? (I am an individual seller)

Basically I think your only options are to list one as an auction, and if you get enough underbidders you could do second chance offers- dont start your item too low though!

Or list as a number of them but at  fixed price.

If it is on this ID you want to sell the items then as you are not a power seller or have a store you have no option but to list them individually.

You can only list 1 item at a time as ebay no longer permit multiple listings of the same item that are identical.

So you can list 1 then when that sells if there is more than 1 bidder and you are happy with the price you can then also do second chance offers or as one listing ends then you can relist it.

Be sure though to start your auctions at the price you would be happy to sell for if they only get the 1 bid.

Also even at fixed prices you can ONLY have 1 item as you are not able to list multiples in a single listing unless you have a store or a power seller or registered business

Not knowing what exactly you are thinking of selling it is difficult to give exact advice.  One of the things you have to take in consideration is postage.  You need to do research, which way will be best  to post.  If your items are small then offering combined posting attracts buyers, or list some items in set of 2 or more.

As sparklez said, you must not list more than one of any particular item or eBay will remove your listing and you will have violation recorded against you.  But you can sell variations; for example if you sell T-shirts you can list red one in size 10, and another red in size 12,  and you can also list yellow size 10 etc.

colkym, the only way the OP can sell these items is one at a time, if this is the ID they are going to sell with. To sell more or have a multiple item BIN they need to be a business seller, a TRS or have a store these days unless it's a variant only as super nova has said.

The restriction on listing more than one identical item only applies to BIN, you can have as many auctions running at the same time as you want however it is not a sensible thing to do.

If you have more than one listed as auction and one has a bid then another interested party will just go and put the opening bid on the other item rather than bidding the price up.

You could list one as a BIN for 10 days and another at auction for 5 or 7 and see if one sells better than the other.

The problem with BIN is you have to be pretty accurate as to how much other people will value the item at, not what you think it is worth. Set the price too low and you miss out, set it too high and nobody buys. With an auction if you start at the lowest price you are prepared to sell for then they will find their own level.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.
