I placed a maximum bid on an item for the amount of $20. As soon as i placed the bid I was notified that I was outbid by somebody else. When the auction finished I check to see how much the item sold for and it sold to another bidder for $20. This would mean that I was not actually outbid, but some how Ebay chose the other bidder over my bid for the exact same amount. Is this normal, it just seems strange to me.
