I have to cancel a bid as I made a mistake with the size and i did not realise they were usued

If there is more than 12 hours to go before the listing finishes you can cancel the bid yourself, you can find the link by clicking on site map at the bottom of nearly every page.

If there are less than 12 hours to go then you will have to email the seller and ask if they will cancel it for you though they are not obliged to and they may not see your email in time.

If the listing has finished then you can ask the seller to cancel the transaction and if they do make sure you get your response right and agree that you are the one wanting to cancel or the seller may get a defect.  If they have been mucked about in the past by buyers doing the wrong thing they may just wait for 4 days and then open an unpaid item dispute  and close it 4 days later if you don't pay. The decent thing to do is to pay for it and sell it on to get back your money.
