I have just tried to use C_YOURGIFT02 to get my $10 discount in e-bay after paypal offered it to me in an email they sent to me. When I try to do this I get a message shown below. I use the same email address in both e-bay and paypal.
"This discount is not linked to this PayPal account ( ... ... deleted by me ... ...)
To use this discount, the associated email address must be linked to your PayPal account. You can add your email address to this account, try logging in to a different PayPal account, or continue your purchase without using the discount."
