I recently bought a steamer on ebay that stated 'free postage' on its main page. I did a 'buy it now' purchase and when I went to pay it indicated to me that the 'free postage' was not free but was a 'pick-up only'. I immediately notified the seller and stated that I would be happy to cancel the purchase and pay for any re-listing fees.
The seller has been quite rude and tells me that it is "not their problem" and item "clearly states" that pick-up was the only option...
I am very confused about this situation as we are probably both, partly, correct in our assumptions...
What do I do in this situation?
I have sent them a screen shot of the item where it states that the item is "free postage"...
and have tried to be accomodating...
Please help.
I do not want to be unreasonable but feel I have taken all steps I can to resolve this situation in an understanding manner.
Thank you for any help you are able to give.
