When I search for an item and find it in the list of items to choose from where it shows a buy it now price listing free postage how can it be that when I click on the link it then is the price plus extra for delivery? Isn't this false advertising and therefore illegal?

I've seen it before usually when a seller is say in Melbourne and offers free delivery within Melbourne but will charge postage/freight if the item has to go to say Perth or Far North Queensland etc, but that extra is normally clearly shown in the "postage" section of the listing.
