hi why does ebay/paypall .take your money straight away from ya bank account ,eg payment pending but

hi cancelled a order sunday night payment still pending even thought company i was buying of sent emails saying cancelled yet ebay takes up to 10 days to payback into account

If you funded a payment with your bank account the refund does not go back to you bank account but into your paypal account and you have to manually transfer it to your bank account.

If your funding source is a debit ot credit card then the refund does go back to the funding source and this can take several days, depending on your bank.

If you cancel a transaction while the payment is still pending the seller cannot send an immediate refund...it has to clear into their paypal account before they can access it to refund.
