how to cancel an order?

Hi,

I bid on a costume and later on I found that I really do not want that item. Now I am getting regular reminders to pay the amount as my bid was the highest bid.

Please suggest how to cancel this order.

As the buyer you cannot cancel the item.

Ebay is not a game.....the seller pays fees when you win the item.

You bid, you win, you pay.

If you do not want an item that you have bid on you should have at least retracted the bid, or asked the seller to do it for you.

You can ask the seller to cancel the sale but they are not obligated to do so.   You may well get an Unpaid Item strike on your account and more than one of these may see you unable to buy from sellers who have their buyer blocks in place.

In future make use of your Watch List....do not bid on an item until you are sure you are going to pay for it if you win.
