Why is it that on Ebay Australia so much for sale or auction now comes from the USA where postage is so high.

What happened to Australians selling things?

There are 1000's of Australians selling things. You need to adjust your settings to see them, or ebay will push them to the back pages and try and get you to purchase from Chinese sellers foremost, and then other countries. Supposedly makes for a better buyer experience.

When you do a search for an item, click 'Australia only' in the left hand margin, after the results appear. This will bring the Australian based items to the top.
