Is it still possible to talk to Ebay online?

I've purchased something and paid in AU$ and now the seller is saying I need to pay more as he wanted US$. I said in no place did it say US$ and he says he assumed I would contact him first--what the?

I'd like to speak to ebay about it if possible....if anyone could point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Either a listing is in AU or US.

I would say the US seller has accidentally put the item up for sale on the Aus site.

It's not really the seller's fault as there has been a glitch with US members being diverted to Aus site without them knowing.

If you are not prepared to pay more then ask the seller to cancel the sale as a buyer is not obligated to paying more than what is shown in a listing.

That is what eBay will tell you, if not less. (Phillipine call centre)

The item was listed in NSW so not sure what game he's playing. I've a refund now and ebay advised me to report the seller.

Thanks for your help.

If it's an Aus seller then they may have thought you could list in different currencies or wanted to list on the US site.

I'm guessing a reasonably new seller or perhaps a Chinese seller.

Glad you got it sorted and a refund.
