Backstamp query

Please can someone identify this item and its use.Also identify the backstamp.Figure is 15cms. tall.I thought the two little bowls are for salt.

Identified by some as Meissen double salt

To me they don't have the quality one would expect from Meissen, nor do they look 1800s but I am certainly no expert.  I can't see that exact mark anywhere identified as Meissen and we see in the second example a different crossed swords mark. This web site suggests they are repros from Asia
