watch list saying there is nothing has been saved but there has been

Both myself and my partner are having the same problem, her on her computer and me on my iPad. We have hit the add to watch list on items but when we go to watch list I says our "watch list is empty " .

I have had the problem since early in the week.

I get told my Watch List is full and to delete some items before I attempt to add any more.   When I try to do just that I get the message that there is nothing in my Watch List.

If it had just started on Friday I would have said it was the Friday Gremlins but it has been happening for a lot longer that that.
