Winning but then didn't win. Anyone experienced that?

I was bidding on digital camera and at the end of session i was the winner. It was on my computer screen. Took a picture of it. But then I didn't win. Someone else won it. Is it possible when you were told a winner but then revised? In this case there were 2 winners. When I refresh my screen it said sorry you didn't won. Pls advice

By the sound of it, there may have been another bid put in earlier that trumped yours. If 2 bids are put in, the ealier placed bid wins. It is odd though, that it said that you had won.

Thanks for sharing. Yes I think it is odd too. Ebay sutomer service insisted that without ANOTHER confirmation, the first confirmation is meaningless. Which is ofcourse pick the higger bidder so they can charge more. It is not much for this transaction but imagine how many transaction perday and how many people like to bid at last second. Well, big guy is always stronger but it considering to prove it they are wrong :))
