Hi, I am new to Australia and require some advice on the best shipping charges for my product please

Hi, my product, once packaged is 15cm x 15cm x 80cm, and weighs an average of 5 - 6kg. The products are steel legs for tables and items similar to that. They are not fragile, and I would need tracking. I would like to offer "free postage" and build it into the price, but the postage varies considerably across Australia. I accept that some postage I will gain and some I would loose, by offering "free postage", but do not wish to be appear greedy on the postage as that is not where I wish to make my profit. The value of the product itself will not exceed $100 as far as requiring any additional insurance. I have found prices on Auspost, that far exceed what some of my competitors are quoting and would just like to be competitive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
