How do we get accurate tracking with the Global shipping system, it is very Vague at the best,

I have an item purchased in USA and being sent with Global Shipping program, just received an email notifying us that it has arrived at the Global shipping centre ?? BUT where is the GSC ??? it could be any where on this planet and there are no options to refine the tracking, at least with UPS it can be tracked efficiently.

The GSP is done by Pitney Bowes and their USA distribution centre is in Erlanger Kentucky.
You normally get two tracking numbers, one for PB and one for the carrier delivering your parcel be it Fedex or other.
PB also often repack items and the service can be slow and expensive. PB will also deem items unsuitable for shipping.
I usually steer clear of sellers using the GSP or ask if they will send USPS.
