Hey guys,
Need some advice; bought an item recently that was showing 'free postage', but after I had won it, the selled suddenly messages me and tells me that I have to add an additional 50% of the item price on top to pay for postage.
What are my rights in a situation like this? I feel like because they advertised free postage, that they should honour it, but I thought I'd get other people's opinion and find out ebay's postage policy before I say anything.

The official line is that you do not have to pay any more postage than what is in the listing BUT at present there has been a glitch in the system whereby Freight often shows as Free Postage.
It is really up to you....you can ask the seller to cancel the transaction or if you really want the item you could try to negotiate a postage cost with the seller.
