What do you do if postage for a book is ridiculously high?

My son bought a book, less than 500g. We now find the seller wants to charge $100.00 for postage from Canada to Australia. Seems a ridiculous amount. Seller is not replying to emails. What can we do?

The time to question postage costs is before you commit to buying an item. If there's no postage amount in the listing you should ask the seller for a postage quote prior to purchase.

There's not much you can do now if the seller is not responding to your emails, either pay the invoice if you want the item or ignore the invoice and risk getting an Unpaid item strike.
