my package arrived smashed into pieces- who do I contact to have this problem resolved?

I ordered a Kenwood glass mixing bowl from the UK and it arrived very well wrapped but smashed to pieces. I need to find someone to address this problem and cannot seem to find out who takes responsibiity for the package damage.

Could you please advise me of the next step to take.

If the seller becomes reluctant to help, provided you paid via PayPal you can open a case to receive a refund.

But the first step is to always try to work it out with your seller.
