I recently won the bid on an item. I cant afford the $160 freight charge and want to pick it up myself.
the seller wont let me. Now I dont want it . as its way over budget. what do i do? can I get out of it as I havnt paid yet? Ill take it if he lets me pick it up.

The time to ask for shipping costs or whether a seller accepts pick ups is before you make a purchase.
Many sellers don't want strangers to their house.
All you can do is ask for a mutual cancellation but the seller is not obliged to and may open an unpaid item case so the cancellation doesn't register as a defect on their account.
That means your account will receive a strike.
2 or more strikes on your account and you can't bid or buy from sellers with blocks.
Sellers are charged fees as soon as you win or buy an item, 9.9% in FVFees.
