IS IT PERMISSABLE TO CHARGE BUYER THE PAYPAL FEE IF THEY CHOOSE PAYPAL

I'VE NOTICED MANY SELLERS SAYING THAT IF THE BUYER CHOOSES TO PAY BY PAYPAL.............THE BUYER WILL BE CHARGED THIS PAYPAL FEE ON TOP OF FINAL PRICE

I THINK THIS IS FAIR AS THE SELLER IS ALREADY PAYING MORE THAN DOUBLE THE PAYPAL FEE WITH THE EBAY FEE

Not only is it against ebay policy it is against Paypal policy, something you should have known if you had read the terms and conditions of both sites as you ticked the boxes to say you had when you opened the accounts.

Ebay and Paypal fees are completely different, you pay ebay for using their site to sell and you pay Paypal for transferring funds from the buyer to yourself and for providing you with seller protection should you choose to avail yourself of it by using a qualifying delivery method.

Both sets of fees should be built into your start or BIN price.

If you try breaching ebay policy by saying there will be a charge for using Paypal and you are reported the listing will be removed and a policy violation recorded against your account., A couple of these and your selling privileges will be restricted or suspended altogether and if you are reported to Paypal your account could be closed.
