Is GST collected by ebay from seller accounts to pass on the the ATO?

Normally in Australia, a buyer will be invoiced with a 10% premiumn added, stated as GST, with the exception of sellers not being GST registered within Australia. As Ebay sends the defult invoice, will they be modifying them after 01/07/17 to show the GST component value the buyer must pay?

OR; Will Ebay simply take the 10% from the sales value, so the seller ends up paying the GST as a condition of using Ebay to conduct their sales?

If the seller is GST registered, then they can have the GST value added to the tax invoice, in which case the buyer must pay the added value that will be passed onto the ATO during the sellers GST accounting, rather than Ebays GST accounting.

Am I on the right track here?

However lets not confuse the proposed new taxes.

1. This year 1-7-17, the netflix tax will commence which is a GST, only on eBay selling and store fees.

2. The import tax on goods less than $1,000 has been postponed until next year.

3. Earning income of more than $75,000 requires GST paid as it has been for a long time.
