COLLECTOR"S STAMPS.

I sell Collector's Stamps and usually start my "Bidding Price" reasonably high, given the value of some of these Stamps are significantly high and I wish to, at the least break even on what they cost me, given Stamp Value and associated selling costs.

eBay suggest the start sell price at .99 cents with nil postage. I have tried this and naturally many takers have left me at a financial loss.

My question to the Members is: Is there a way of starting the Auction at a low price, but if the Auction does not reach, at least break-even point, can I somehow pull out of it?

Something like when selling a Car or a House, you can have a "Reserve Price".

Thanking you in anticipation.

There are no reserves for stamps.

All you can do is set the starting price at the amount you would be happy to sell for if there is only one bid.  Any more is a bonus.
