How do I provide a recommendation to improve an eBay function in particular, SEARCHES YOU FOLLOW

I have not been able to find a way to send a recommendation to eBay via any of the "Contact Us" links. So this post contains a recommendation to eBay in the hope that it will be seen and considered.

On the eBay Australia site, the SEARCHES YOU FOLLOW page has been altered recently.

There are some design aspects of SEARCHES YOU FOLLOW that at present make it difficult and cumbersome for the user:

  1. The Search Name  column appears in random order.  It would be of significant help if the order is made to be alpha/numeric ascending.
  2. ALIGNMENT: the Search name text should be vertically top aligned and not vertically centre aligned.  That would then align the text with the text of the Actions column.   As it presently is, paging down may not let the user see the search name text in the same window as the Action text if the search text is lengthy. (because of the height of the Keyword column).
  3. HYPERLINK it would make great sense if the displayed search name text was enhanced to be a hyperlink with the same action as the Actions column View Items.  The majority of times a search is visited is to view it rather than some of the other Actions.
  4. In keeping with other parts of eBay, the Action column should be at the left not the right so as to fit comfortably on a narrow screen (tablet, smartphone)  (Compare with the listing of Selling Manager Pro which is designed excellently.)
  5. the Keyword column is not particularly helpful since, in the main, it just replicates the text of the Search Name.  It is further of particular annoyance since due to its narrow width, the whole search row on the page us wantonly extended in its height.
  6. In past incarnations, it was possible to apply a user defined name to a saved search.  This was particularly useful since it makes it easy for the user to see what a particular search relates to - and there may be multiple searches that appear similar when one looks at the present implementation's Search Name column.  Bring back that Naming functionality - possibly as an option.  The present implementation really makes it hard for the user.

If I go to another eBay site, such as eBay.co.uk, then I see the previous version of Searches you follow.  Although it does have many of the demerits noted above, it is infinitely more useable than the current implementation on eBay.com.au.

eBay Australia - Please look at my searches, you will surely understand the basis of my remarks above.

Perhaps my searches are not typical of many users.  They are, however, carefully constructed to show me the items that I want to see and to avoid the plethora of ones that I do not want to see.  The present organisation of the page is really not helpful at all and is continuingly frustrating and irritating.

Thank you.
