How do I change my stores front page banner

I have a store and had a past emplyer put up a banner on the front page. I now need to change this and can not work out where to do it. Can anyone help?

If you go into manage my store, you should be able to find where to add/edit/delete a logo and when you upload your new logo the banner head should change to reflect that.

If you want the entire store page layout to change, you can choose a template from the one's freely available.
