Can a buyer retract his bid 2 days after making it? He sited the reason as incorrect amount entered however his bid was the reserve amount.

as already answered yes they can

you do not know how much his bid was.

say your starting price is $140 and just lets say he bid $500...... all you, as the seller, will see is the $140 of his ''winning'' bid unless someone else bid against him his bid would not increase at all.   so maybe he did only bid $140 but maybe he bid more and changed his mind.

eBay only give 3 or 4 boxes to tick for ''reason'' so some bidders just tick the first one, to cancel.
