What a complete crock

A reply from someone who doesn't know what they are talking about, just makes my day, of course they are fake, you only have to Google it, report ? hah, have you seen how many there are ? probably not, do you know anything about tech stuff ?, if you did you would find out that Kingston makes the biggest usb at the moment and that is 1Terrabyte in size that will cost you $700+, go figure, wild accusations ? hah, you know how they do it ? they hack thelog file into fooling the flash drive into thinking it has more memory than it actually does, most of these flash drives will only be in reality 8-16gb in real world terms, you want to find out more about this !!, than just sitting in your comfy chair while people are being ripped off because eBay is doing nothing to stop this practice. These have been reported before on eBay and yet they are doing nothing to stop these sellers de frauding buyers. Do not buy these fellow eBayers, do some research through Google and you will see them for what they are......FAKES, if you have unfortunately brought one there is a free program out there you can use H2testw to find out actual capacity, search Google for fake 2tb flash drives........doing my part to help other ebayers, because eBay isn't.

It sounds like you don't know what you are talking about with regards to how eBay works.

You received some perfectly good questions ensuring you have double checked the accusations you make from one of the longest respected volunteer members in the answer centre.

eBay is like a newspaper with buyers n sellers meeting up. Signing up is on a trust basis with certain rules and eBay cannot possibly vet millions of listings. Listings that are reported are not always dealt with especially if listed on eBay in another country. Chinese sellers seem to be untouchable due to their own internal philosophies.

eBay require physical proof before removing listings and deregistering sellers which is often very difficult with online trading.

It has always been caveat emptor on eBay and always will with regards to online purchases.

So next time you want to shoot down someone giving their time to answer your queries, think before you type.

Also no need to start a new thread, select comments to respond.

I also suggest if you want to rant or have a discussion, go to the discussion boards rather than posting here in the eBay volunteer answer centre.

Not many read here so if you want to do your part to help others, write to Aust Customs to ensure they are aware of fake imports.

And as suggested post on the discussion boards where more members read as well as doing joint reporting of listings.

We often get items removed when many members report obvious policy violations.

However for all we know you could be a competitor trying to eliminate your competition so proof is required for other members to assist you in reporting.
