Winning bidder claiming he did not make bid. Refusing to pay.

Winning bidder claims his son made the bid without his permission and now refuses to pay.  How is situation normally resolved?

A lot of sellers now simply open a "non-payers dispute" and if the "buyer" doesn't pay within 4 days they get the strike on their account that they so richly deserve........just sayin'...................
