a buyer can no longer afford to pay for the 8 items they've won. do I have to pay to relist?

I'm still fairly new to selling on ebay. I've listed some items and a buyer has bid and won 8 of them over a week ago. She now tells me she can no longer afford to pay for these items, so I need to relist. Do I have to pay the listing fee's all over again?

You need to either do cancellations or unpaid cases so you get your FVFee's back.

Otherwise the eBay system doesn't know they have not been paid for.

Once the previous transactions are closed, then you relist and yes you lose the listing fee but not the FVF upon sale.

However if you used free listings then you only lose those freebies not any costs incurred.

A suggestion - rather then list for 99c auction you may be better to list as BIN, then you can have a listing up for 30 days.

So perhaps sell items for $2 - $6 or similar if you are only getting one bid anyway.

Then you might not go over your monthly 40 freebies in a month.
