buyer didn't pay for item but i was still charged fees

Hello,

I put an item up for sale on ebay and had an offer I accepted however buyer never paid and didn't respond to any of my emails. I took it to resolution centre but not sure what outcome was as I was still chared a fee for selling my item.

I have relisted the item and would like the fee refunded or given back as a credit.

Please advise

If you opened an unpaid item case you need to manually close it.

Check to see if it is still open in resolution centre.

You don't get a credit unless you do a cancellation or UIC as you would have read in the instructions for selling before you started selling.

If the case closed without you confirming the item was still unpaid, you cannot open another and it is too late for a cancellation also.

Always close an UIC without response from the buyer 4-5 days after it's opened.
