Confirming my phone number or my account will be suspended

Hi there, just received a text message asking me to confirm my phone number on ebay or my ebay account will be suspended, problem is I can't see it on my account to confirm it, but they must have it to have sent me the message. Is this spam ? Thanks Gary

A text message, nah ignore it sounds like a scam/phishing attempt. eBay will not text you, unless you request it.

I'd say scam. If they had your number to send you a text message asking you to confirm your number, they wouldn't need to ask you to confim your number as they already have it.

Delete it and whatever you do, don't click on any links in it.

Are they coming from a number or 'private'? If there's a number, block it because they will keep sending them.
