Protecting yourself from SNAD disputes for used vintage electronics

So it's been a while since I last sold much on eBay. I guess I've been put off by the "it's got a speck of dust on it that wasn't in the photo I'm keeping it and I want a full refund" outcomes on eBay lately.

I have some vintage arcade machine parts that are quite desirable and I'd be likely to get a better result on eBay than anywhere else. My concern is whether an accurate description of "untested" or "works when powered up but no guarantee of all functions" or "sold as is" or similar wording is enough to mitigate the likelihood of disputes as we all know buyers see "not working sold as is" but expect " gold plated fully functional mint condition" and eBay/PayPal tend to side with the buyer.

How do the regular sellers deal with this issue?

When I have sold mech or elect parts even if they appear to work but I'm not sure if they fully work, I select the category, Not Working - Sold as parts.

That way I don't have any worrying thoughts on my mind.

I can still get a total tool of course but nothing you do can please those.
