Why can't I remove "best Offer" from my listings

There are some listing that simply will not allow me to remove the best offer option is there something I'm missing

My understanding is that if there have been sales or offers made on a listing the best offer feature cannot be removed.

I have never used best offer, but I have noticed lately sneaky ebay are auto ticking it when revising a listing. I have had to remove the tick on a few now.

once you have best offer on an auction the only way to get rid of it is to cancel the auction and relist it without best offer. ive never understood this, but its true.

If you have it as fixed price listing with best offer, you can revise and untick the best offer.

I have just done one.

Perhaps you have had an offer and declined on some listings.

I have noticed that eBay defaults to Best Offer when you manually relist items in the unsold section. Every time I go to relist a BIN I have to turn it off.
