buyer messaged me and wants to cancel a purchase she made a couple of days ago I have not recieved a cancellation request through ebay Is it my responsibility to cancel this or do I have to wait for her to send me the request through ebay.
I messaged her back and asked for cancelation request and she seems to think that as she messaged me it is up to me to cancel the sale from my end
What is the correct procedure for this
Thanks for any help

only the seller can send through a cancellation request, well after a few days since sale. make sure when you send it that you select buyer made a mistake or similar so you get your fees back without getting a defect.

I would be opening an unpaid item request, sellers are always complaining about buyers noot paying but when soome sellers allow this to go on without any impact on the buyer's account why should they think it is OK not to pay, especially if they waited a few days and didn't contact you straight away if they had made a genuine mistake.

If I receive a request within 24 hours I will cancel, if later than that UPI dispute is instigated. i also take buyers fb into consideration.
