On a different computer and residence (my mothers) we can log into Ebay US and UK but cannot access Ebay Australia at all. This seems to be on both a desktop and laptop.
Is it some sort of bug/virus/?
Can the ISP be blocking it for some reason?
Any other suggestions?

No, I don't think that is possible.
Maybe some site issues at the time.
Try again, manually putting in ebay.com.au in the address bar of the browser.
