Withdrawing item from sale.

How can I withdraw an item from sale? There does not appear to be any programme for this. The item was sold privately and it has been my unpleasant duty to inform bidders that the item is not available. Some have been quite unpleasant. Communication with you is difficult and not very helpful. 

I suggest you include an exit strategy for a situation such as this. I informed your accounts department that the item was already sold, they informed me I owed no fee and that they would withdraw the posting. This has not happened. There is a renewal notice on my item but again, no simple button to press to stop this process.

You are on a public forum with volunteer members. eBay don't read here.

It is against eBay policy to list an item having it for sale elsewhere.

I am not surprised you have upset bidders.

To end a listing go to your selling list and to the right in the drop down menu select "end item".
