Latrobe Valley Vic library sale scheduled for today has been postponed until Saturday August the 1st. Apparently the venue was double booked & book sale organisers didn't find out until late Wednesday, which meant nothing could be put in the next day's local paper. Lots of people had to find out the hard way. :_|

#58 - we went to the Massive Book Sale at Stirling and were massively underwhelmed. Unimpressed, even.

I missed the Tamworth Rotary Bookfair 2 weeks ago....didn't realise it was that time of year already and missed the ads on TV. Aparently it was the best one ever.

Did anyone else go to the Scholastic sale today?
I didn’t pick up as much as normal but still made some good selections! 😄

I haven’t been well lately and was surprised to see when I did my k’s in my log book that I haven’t been book shopping for a month 😮 😮 😮
I think that’s unprecedented for me!

School Hall, 121 Cox's Rd North Ryde. This sale was on today and again tomorrow, Sunday from 9.30 - 2.30pm. 1000's of books and today being so wet, maybe not many ventured out.

Thanks Mon -The organisers sent me an email - unfortunately, worked Saturday & am about to go to a birthday party for 3 yrear old twins in Gymea today! - could have been good?!
