Can anyone tell me if classic sports posters from the 80's (think NIKE, Costicos Brothers, sports etc...) have been re-released by the copyright holders for wrapped on canvas prints? I know wrapping canvas printing wasn't a thing in say 1985 yet I see some posters of that era printed on canvas selling for huge bucks as if they were vintage and for real!!!
That can't be legal. Right? Or did these companies re do their stock?
Since anyone can take a photo and go to Kinkos or Walmart and get a canvas wrap I'm thinking a lot of copyright infringment is happening!
Anyone have any info on this?
