Transit times for ebay purchases

I am in Australia. I signed up with ebay on September 4, 1999. Back in those days, and for quite some time after, buyers and sellers were in direct contact with each other via their personal email addresses. When I bought something, more often than not the seller would notify me via email that they had mailed my purchase to me. I would look at the date and then count 6 to 8 days, and the package would arrive at my home. That's right, 6 to 8 days. It was as reliable as a Swiss watch, time after time after time. Today the transit time can be anything up to a month! So what happened? Do planes fly slower these days? No! Today my packages seem to go on a site-seeing tour, from this place to the next place to the next place and so on. In reality, they should go to the nearest international airport and then to me. I sometimes think that my packages could get to me faster if they were being paddled in a canoe! Six to eight days is a short time to wait for a delivery, but knowing that I will have to wait anything up to a month, I have put up with it now for years, but I am very much getting turned off from buying, knowing there is such a long delivery time.

Phone app not allowing me to access my selling hub

I do most of my work through the selling hub on my app. since yesterday I am now not able to access offers, drafts or items sold. I have an add for free selling and am unable to remove it. This is a 20yo account with a pro store, so not a new seller issue. Any thoughts.

eBay is asking me to upload my UK VAT registration number but I am an Australian business only.

I am trying out the free plan.

I didn't realize that when I wanted to relist more than one item, that wasn't allowed with the free plan.

Nor can you edit more than one item.

When you get 300 items ending all at once, that will take quite a while to relist one at a time.

Is there a way around this or should I change plans

Please can someone help I sent a very expensive Pokemon card at first the buyer said they received it no problems and sent pics with my envelope in the background along with card in condition I posted it in perfect ! I was like Ur welcome good doing business........then 2day later they sent a message saying they looked back on card and noticed damage ?? Then they sent a series of pics of damaged cards I said you already sent pics of card received and it's as I sent perfect condition he reakns no the light was hitting the damage .wen I said that's not my card and I want a video of front and back ...because I know he's keeping the card so obviously he isn't going to damage it and I know that he wldnt be able to show me that as proof he keep excusing and excusing then after deleting more messages because I kept pointing out look that's not my card he just decided to to an item not described.fast forward he sends a 20c energy card leaves me a bad review. I of course opened a case immediately the eBay agent looked thru everything and confirmed they cld clearly see this is a scammer and I would receive full refund and case closed . But hours later after also confirming on chat I get an automated message in messages saying case closed buyer refunded ???? Wat is going on I'm in tears it's a 700 pound card guys . I rang up just now they said they r going by the automated message please help

Re: correspondence #4d57ebffe4314e93b32acb5adad5e193#, I just wanted to say that I think your AI is not working correctly. I had a warning about small batteries that directs to a government website. In this case there are no battery involved. Battery terminals connectors go onto the terminals of a car battery and in themselves they have no charge, they are simply mental and plastic connectors, marked for each terminal positive and negative indicating the different sizes. Therefore, I doubt a human would make this mistake so I believe your Ai needs tweaking.

Warranty Failure

I purchased a car part covered by a one year warranty. The item failed after 6 months, so beyond the return period.

I contacted the seller with no reply.

The ebay portal dosent cover a return after the usual 30day period.

How can the sell offer 1 year waranty then deny support.

buyers protection fee as a seller

How does the buyers protection fee affect me as a seller. Does this mean if the buyer does not like it or finds its not what he wanted that I need to refund his money? I am selling an item with not returns or conditions and I need to know. The buyer has made me an offer and it states "with buyer protection fee" I have not come across this before and I need to know how it affects my sale.

Since the change I can no longer create a used item listing.
