Thanks. I totally agree but Hubby thought it might be a better option if potential buyers could talk to him personally. I have now removed the phone number.

Hubby has just listed our car on Ebay and put in our mobile number in case anyone wants to talk to him about it. We have been receiving text messages wanting to know the price..or condition and asking him to respond to an email address only. Obvioulsy a scam of some description. Does anyone know why they do this? Is it to get your email address??? Thanks in advance

Why on earth would you put your phone number in the listing, If they want to know details there is a message system for that. Be prepared for the onslaught of spam you will get. take your phone number off the listing.
