Today my grandson (8) sent me an email with him holding a gold star award for best behaviour in class and completing his assignment, that made me happy.

nothing. My Fil had a heart attack yesterday and my Mil and Bil are actually using it to cause problems between hubby and me.

Hubby and I went out for lunch for the first time in ages.

Miss lucky to make it to 16yo in 17 days apologised this morning for being incredibly hurtful last night.

Miss 12yo pulled the stove apart last night and scrubbed it for me because she knew I wanted to do some cooking today and I always scrub the kitchen first.

And I also got stuff sorted out with CSA and Centrelink that someone else had tried to cause problems with. Someone keeps telling porkies and doesn't realise I keep track and proof of everything, including visits etc.

So this afternoon is my free time...although I am going to spend it doing my Tafe work.

Pretty happy the doc gave me sleeping pills and stronger pain medication....

Happy there is going to be a thunderstorm on the weekend so that I can stop hurting...

My day just got better....

My licence isn't going to be suspended on March 20th because I was just able to prove that I was not at fault in an accident a few months back, even though I ran up someone's rear end...after they slammed on their brakes in the middle of a green light intersection and then did a runner. Police finally caught up with them and my appeal was successful according to the letter I just received ! Saving myself $502 in fines as well !!!

I collected a trailer load of stuff today *still not finished* from a deseased estate, all kinds of stuff which included an excelent TV cabinet loaded with gizmos (dust free) books etc. these kind of pick-ups makes me happy:-D

It only rained once, early this morning, and apart from that has been warm and sunny all day - a very welcome change after more than two weeks of constant rain.

I finally finished repairing my driveway after five days of really, really hard work.

A chick hatched in my incubator this morning.

Screechy (orphaned Tawny Frogmouth, released a couple of days ago), came and visited me for breakfast this morning.

My calf, who got a paralysis tick a few days ago and looked like she would die, looks as though she's turned a corner and is going to survive.

The BLEEPING CAMEL who has been breaking into the calf pen every day this week hasn't done it once today after I jury-rigged up an electric fence.

Heaps of crap stuff happened today too, but I won't mention that here - will wait for DDB's peed off thread.
