Tea and sympathy :(

My boy has just smashed his face up in a road accident overseas. Looks like he has about 80 stitches in his beautiful face. I have just got an email with a pic, and I haven't even spoken to him yet. Motherhood is tough, however old they are. 😞

He lives there Cat for the past 3 years, but he said in his email he was crying and he wanted to come home. I feel like bawling too

Oh you poor thing. My son smashed his knee and face and broke a tooth while he was o/s too. It's just the most helpless feeling not being able to help our "babies" isn't it :-x

Could he come home for a bit to recover?

If he can't, don't worry though. You can still be in daily contact with him and help him recover from here.

I've done that a few times when my daughter traveled O/S for 7 years.

80 stitches? In the face? That's just awful and I'm very sorry. Hope he can get some plastic surgery after it all heals up.

My son heads of OS on the 17th... if anything happened to him while he was away I would feel incredibly helpless and sad....

I hope he manages to get on his feet quickly and if he wants to come home for a visit I hope he can make it.
