Update on Sons Accident

Thanks everybody for being so kind the other day when I was feeling low over my sons accident :-x

The update: I finally got to speak to him 2 days (boys, grrrr) after the accident. His face was looking worse than the original pic. However he is feeling much better now though there may be some permanent damage as the cuts on his forehead are where the nerve controlling his eyelid are 😞

He does not want to come home now - I think he just wanted his mum when he was feeling poorly.

The good news is that the whole thing was witnessed by a police officer, so there should be no hassles over the insurance claim.

That's good news that your son is feeling better now. I hope that the damage turns out to not be permanent.

My face also met a windscreen one time and it's not a lot of fun.

yeah I went through a windscreen once too, shredded my upper lip and had to have plastic surgery.

That must be a big relief for you. It's horrid to be so far away you can't offer comfort when they need it 😄
