Together with images, it is disrespectful to use the real name of the deceased..

I am sure other posters were aware of this when the used the band name.

I think it might be okay to use part of his name? ABC news said "Mr Yunupingu" (well the Vic news did).

I've been resisting commenting on this thread because I'm so sad Mandawuy has gone....it's not disrespectful for us to commemorate him by name...but his community needs to know that it will be the case so they can choose to witness or not.

So i'm gonna play his music and celebrate his life because he was an incredible Australian.
