Clive Palmer to drop bombshell on Mal Brough over Ashby

MINING magnate Clive Palmer is set to drop a political bombshell on Mal Brough, alleging the LNP candidate asked the billionaire for money to fund the failed sexual harassment case against Mr Brough's rival Peter Slipper.

Mr Palmer has called a press conference for this morning in Brisbane to detail allegations against Mr Brough.

Mr Brough last night rejected outright approaching Mr Palmer for money.

However, he did confirm he had lunch with both Mr Palmer and Mr Hockey.

And he said the James Ashby case may have been discussed.

He tweeted that Abbott should drop Brough. I can't believe the corruption and dirty tactics behind this issue hasn't been covered adequately.

Yes I'm sure he's only speaking up to get himself some media attention and votes, but at least he's speaking up... the others involved are silent and everyone should be outraged IMO. They tried to bring down a government, ruin careers...not to mention the medical surgery, media firm and legal firm involved, up to their necks in corruption.
