Suggestions please ... Qld people

Hoping someone might have a suggestion for me .... I have a few days off in the week following Easter and am thinking of getting away for a bit. Does anyone have anything fun or interesting happening in their part of Qld in that first week of April? Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast area? Not into sports, but music, markets, arts ... that sort of thing would be good.

Brisbane always has things happening ... markets at South Bank, and other places, music, entertainment, pubs. You can cruise the river, stopping off at a couple (at least) markets,

The Gold Coast has things that are more spread out ... OK if you have a car.
