Anyone out there an expert on everything?

Because I have lots of questions and I can't find the answers.

I can't understand why they are having March in March (on St Patricks Day)

Please can someone ask a question they don't know the answer to?

Here in Queensland we have March for a whole 31 days. Every year!

(I know I'm missing something, but as this is a "know it all's" thread, I can't admit that.)

I'm not sure but I think it started over the NBN. That's where I first heard about it anyway.

This is the image I saw, I think they should change the date or is the St Patricks Day parade on the Sunday?

That same clever soul does not have enough respect for his fellow man and decided to stage the "March" on a day that commemorated a significant event for the Christian Community.

March 17 is believed to be the date that St Patrick died, and St Patrick is a significant figure in Christianity,

All it shows is a lack of respect and not just for the intended target,

The campaign began in November 2008 when a flash protest was called by numerous Internet users in Australia. A coalition of digital rights and civil rights activists came together to orchestrate a nation-wide rally. From there the DLC's grass roots campaign spread to the media.

a weekday will disrupt the workforce.

people will take sickies to attend.

it will also affect trade as people stop doing what they normally do on a monday and attend.

it is designed to be disruptive.

It's on different days in different locations, from the 15th to 17th.

I found this and have no idea who wrote it as I am fairly sure they don't actually speak for 99% of us 😄

although maybe the points they raise would be agreed upon by 99%.
