I wrote them up and put family members & friends next to each - missed/passed on included for all to see.

The Lost Generation

1883 - 1900 (WW1)

The Greatest Generation

1901 - 1924 (WW2)

The Silent Generation

1925 -1945 (Korean War)

....the children of The Great Depression affected from The Depression...

The Baby Boomers

1946 - 1964

Generation X

after/early 1960's - early 1980's

Generation Y

1980's - early 2000's

Generation Z

2001 - 2020

Generation Alpha

2020 - etc.................guess after this it will be 'Beta'

I am what is 'classed' as Gen X .I didn't hate old people purely because of age when I was younger either. I had many 'old' friends then...ie; you know over 30 lol

It's about more than just political correctness. It precedes Political Correctness.

Ideals that undermine the family I often associate with cultural marxism. If I can find the link I'll post it, there is a doco I have seen that explains the topic really well, it starts by introducing Frankfurt School.

I think what is very interesting is that parents gave their children a reason to want to leave home, now they are given a reason to stay, does that make sense?

Parents, 'oldies' are too cool these days.

Teenagers probably have other things they would like to say though.

I think Mark Twain summed it up pretty well: When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learnt in 7 years.
