Six months have now passed since the election.

Every day since then, we have been working hard to deliver on our Plan to build a strong, prosperous economy and a safe, secure Australia.

Our Plan is laying the foundation for a stronger economy with more jobs.

Australia is again open for business – and we are helping families and small businesses to get ahead.

Because of our Plan, confidence is returning and progress is being made.

We’re getting the nation’s finances under control – and addressing Labor’s legacy of $123 billion in Budget deficits and $667 billion in debt.

We’re strengthening the economy by getting the economic fundamentals right – by scrapping the carbon tax and the mining tax, locking in free trade agreements and building the roads of the 21st century.

We will also soon be holding the first ever parliamentary Repeal Day. Thousands of pages of red tape will be expunged – making life easier for schools, hospitals, community groups and small businesses and allowing them to do their work.

And we’re stopping the boats – with no successful boat arrivals since last year.

There is so much more to be done. The Government is determined to help deliver the stronger Australia with more jobs and more opportunity that all Australians want.

I never trust a politician who blocks comments from the people who pay his salary.

He also deletes comments on twitter. Actually, we taxpayers pay for 66 spin doctors, several of whom sit on twitter deleting and blocking negative responses. Another several spend their days writing sycophantic comments about abbott...I wonder if he provides mylanta as a work benefit.

I'm not happy to pay for dishonesty.

What is a "successful boat arrival"? Have there been some unsuccessful boat arrivals?
